On world Pi day, Thursday March 14^th (3-14), CASTeL member, Dr Siún Nic Mhuirí and Dr Pamela Moffett from Stranmillis University College launched ‘Out and About’ , a free online resource of outdoor activities for upper primary/Key Stage 2 Mathematics. ‘Out and About’ aims to enhance children ’s mathematical attainment as well as promote their engagement in learning, and improve their health and wellbeing. This resource was developed in collaboration with a professional learning community of teachers from the North and South of Ireland in a project funded by SCoTENS.
