Mary Boyle was awarded a  research bursary as part of the sixth call by the Teaching Council for the Research Bursary Scheme under the John Coolahan Research Framework. Mary’s research involves supporting a group of teachers to use Lesson Study as a learning pathway for the development of pedagogical content knowledge in primary science. It was the view of the review panel that the proposed research has significant relevance to the teaching profession and that it demonstrates potential to improve teaching and learning in the area of science education.  Warmest congratulations Mary on this award!
