IUPAC International Teacher Survey on Green and Sustainable Chemistry (GSC) Practical Activities is now open for Irish Teachers!

International Teacher Survey on Green and Sustainable Chemistry (GSC) Practical Activities

IUPAC are funding a global survey to investigate the nature of practical work conducted by teachers. The survey is now open for Ireland. This survey is relevant to all Irish post-primary science teachers who teach Junior Cycle Science or Senior Cycle Chemistry. We are interested in what types of practical activities that you use in Junior Cycle Science and Senior Cycle Chemistry, why you choose them, and whether you use activities relating to green chemistry, sustainability, and the circular economy.

If you would like to get involved please visit this link (https://bit.ly/gschemsurvey ) or use the QR code below:

More details on the survey can be found on the project website: https://eschemistry.org/iupac-survey/

The Irish Coordinator for this Project is Dr James Lovatt from the Dublin City University Institute of Education. The survey is part of an international study and responses from different countries will be compared as part of this research project. Should you have any questions about this project please email james.lovatt@dcu.ie

This project has received funds from the IUPAC Committee on Chemistry Education (https://iupac.org/project/2023-002-2-050/).

This project has ethical approval from the DCU Research Ethics Committee (DCUREC/2024/011).
