CASTeL Director, Cliona Murphy was invited to participate as a panelist at the ““Navigating the Shifting Landscape: Developing Skills and Education for a Sustainable European Future” that was hosted by MEP Sirpa Pietikainen and Rolan Jan Meijer, in the EU parliament, in Brussels on the 15^th of November 2023. This event brought together experts from the private and public sector to explore the changing skills and education needs of the European Union in a post-pandemic, climate-oriented world. It also provided a forum to discuss and consider the role of the EU and national governments in addressing these challenges.  The conference concluded by devising concrete recommendations for the European Union regarding how the the European Union can better equip its workforce with the skills and education needed for this future.
