Irish European Olympiad of Experimental Science
The Irish European Olympiad of Experimental Science (IrEOES) is an individual, subject based (biology, chemistry or physics) science competition for students who are sixteen years of age or younger on the December 31st prior to the competition. Round 1 is held online, and is open to all Transition Year and Fifth Year students in Ireland. Round 2 is held annually in Dublin City University (DCU).
The first round of IrEUSO 2021-2022 will take place online on Saturday November 6th, from 10.00-11.00 a.m. This is the only time you can take part.
Irish Chemistry Olympiad
The Irish Chemistry Olympiad is a Competition for Irish students in the final year of second level education who are under twenty on December 31st in the year of the competition. It is held annually in Dublin City University (DCU). Students from Northern Ireland (NI) and the Republic of Ireland (RoI) are invited to take part in the competition. A panel will be selected, and after further competition the two top students from NI and RoI may form the Irish International Chemistry Olympiad Team and represent Ireland at the IChO in July (subject to funding).
