Congratulations to Dr Hsiao-Ping Hsu of the School of STEM Education, Innovation and Global Studies, who just published a notable paper in Tech Trends, a Q1 Springer journal which is published by the American learned society, the Association for Educational Communications & Technology. The paper “From Programming to Prompting: Developing Computational Thinking through Large Language Model-Based Generative Artificial Intelligence” aims to advance key computer concepts of computer science through AI. It advances principles for using LLMs that are based on principles for enabling learners to apply and develop computational thinking in contextual and organic ways.
