Symposium on the History, Philosophy & Sociology of School Biology organsied by DCU Institute of Education will be held on 11th-12th December 2020 as a mixed f2f/online format.

Under the aegis of the International Society of the History Philosophy and Social Studies of Biology, and kindly supported by the Centre for the Advancement of STEM Teaching & Learning (DCU), there will be a symposium held virtually from DCU on the History, Philosophy & Sociology of School Biology drawing speakers from north and south America, across Europe, and the middle east. As the keynote speakers touch on the issue of Coronavirus / COVID19 from the HPS in Education perspective, and other speakers deal with the HPS of science per se there will be something for everyone.
