International conferences hosted by CASTeL in 2017

Three major European and international conferences will be hosted by CASTeL in 2017.

CERME 2017
The Tenth Congress of the European Society for Research in Mathematics Education will be hosted by the Institute of Education, Dublin City University. It will take place at Croke Park from 1st to 5th February, 2017.

GIREP-ICPE-EPEC 2017
The GIREP-ICPE-EPEC 2017 conference will take place in Dublin City University, Ireland. The conference theme will beĀ “Bridging Research and Practice in Physics Teaching and Learning”.This conference will be hosted by the Centre for the Advancement of Science and Mathematics Teaching and Learning (CASTeL) at Dublin City University (DCU), Ireland and is jointly organised by the Conference of International Research Group on Physics Teaching (GIREP), European Physical Society – Physics Education Division (EPS PED) and the International Conference on Physics Education (ICPE) of the Commission C14 of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP). www.girep2017.org

ESERA 2017
ESERA 2017 will be held in Dublin City University on 21st-25th August 2017. The conference will be co-hosted by the two largest Irish STEM education research centers, CASTeL at Dublin City University and EPI-STEM at University of Limerick. The theme of the conference, Research, practice and collaboration in science education underlines aspects of great relevance in contemporary science education research: the need to reflect on different approaches to enhancing our knowledge of learning processes and the role of context, designed or circumstantial, formal or non-formal, in learning and instruction.
