This years’ CASTeL summer school will run on the 2nd – 3rd June and again on the 23rd – 25th June.
CASTeL’s 5th annual summer school will provide teachers with the opportunity to expand their teaching repertoire specifically in the areas of inquiry and assessment. The content addressed will be targeted at Junior Cycle level, however both the content and teaching approaches are transferrable to Senior Cycle.
Day 1: Inquiry – what it is and what it is not! Constructing Inquiry lessons
Day 2: Assessing Skills developed through Inquiry
This summer school is provided free to participants and will run from 9.30am to 4pm. Accommodation is available on request.
All participants will receive copies of materials developed through CASTeL led EU funded projects in Inquiry Based Science Education, SAILS and ESTABLISH
